Building of bridges:
today we find out how an East End school tackles racism by shipping the children off to live communally in Northern Ireland.

Libby Purves is joined by David Hart, General Secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers, who this summer will be retiring after 27 years in the job.听 David Hart reviews the highs and lows of his time at the NAHT and discusses the main challenges now facing education.

JEWISH/MUSLIM THEATRE GROUP
The Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn, North London has set up a young people's theatre group whose members are specifically drawn from the Jewish and Muslim communities.

Every week for a whole academic year听the member of the group get together to share their love of drama and learn theatre skills. The seven men and seven women, of which half are Muslim and half are Jewish have devised a show - Tunnel Vision - that they will perform on Sunday.听 Judi Herman joins a workshop to meet some of the participants and talks to workshop animators Martin Brodies and Dan Rabin.

GEORGE GREEN'S SCHOOL, EAST LONDON
Libby Purves talks to Sue Tripp, Assistant Head, Jabir Uddin, Youth and Community Worker and Sam Awuah , Year 10 student, from George Green's School in Tower Hamlets to find out how they are succeeding in forging better relationships within the very ethnically mixed school population.听
