British School Architecture
Building Schools for the Future is the government's school buildings investment programme. The aim is to rebuild or renew nearly every secondary school in England over a 10-15 year period, beginning in 2005-06, with the first buildings due to open for September 2000. We talk to architect Gillian Horn, a partner in the London based firm Penoyre and Prasad who are involved with designing schools in the UK.

The Sorrell Foundation is running a project called Joined Up Design For Schools where some of the UK's top designers and architects have teamed up with groups of school children. We also talk to David Canter, Professor of Environmental Psychology at Liverpool University.
