Drinking by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Theres no more of that there refinery
Or dictation in dis poetry
Ìý
That pretty stuff wit rhyming lines
Just cant keep up in these new times…innit?
Ìý
Alleritiations all alone
Sniffling sadly sliding home
Ìý
Onematopeia a dying bee,
Buzzing low defiantly
Ìý
Haiku is gone now
Weary traveller lies down
Closes eyes and sleep
Ìý
Wake weary dreamer
There is much work to do now
Tradition to keep.
