Get the party started...
Thanks for a swinging evening tonight. Tomorrow will be the last show of the year and as Scotland gets ready to party I'll be asking for your all time party favourites.
What are the tunes that are guaranteed to make our blogger's parties go with swing? What are the never fail floor fillers in your household.
Start the party early and join me on Friday night for what should be a fun evening...

Julie said so, and I wouldn't dare contradict her.

I've decided it's the most significant record ever made: the first track on the first Beatles album - which would change everything.
With enough volume under it, it still is a floor filler which at 49 years old is quite something. It has both the rawness of a live performance,(which it is) with the 1-2-3- fah count in, precision of playing, hook line and sing a long lyric that makes it timeless.
It completely stands up against everything contemporary, which coming from a re-mix fan, is praise indeed.
