Would really love to plug Glasgow singer/songwriter Robin Adams for the show Bryan. He is currently working on his fourth album, but hasn't had much local or national air-play to my knowledge and great surprise! He's kind of a Scottish Nick Drake, but so much more... The title track from his last album BE GONE would fit the theme... it hasn't been off the car CD player since I got it!!

Although I'm sure I could come up with a few if I put my mind to it, the tune that immediately comes to mind is

Whatever, Whenever - Groove Armada from the great Vertigo album.

John Lennon believed Here There and Everywhere to be McCartney's greatest song, much better than 'Yesterday'. It also used to irritate the hell out of him that everywhere he went someone would produce a violin and play 'Yesterday'.

That would have been an interesting factoid for last night, but feel free to use it when playing 'Here,There and Everywhere' tonight - there's a really good version on McCartney's 'Give My Regards To Broad Street' album.

Anyway, 'Whatever, Whenever' by Groove Armada is a great track -one of a few that made me feel 'rap' music might be okay (in small doses).
