that's a nice beach, no doubt.
but not the best in the western isles archipeligo.
the best has an uninterrupted view of skerryvore lighthouse which sits majestic 14 miles out in the atlantic whose breakers smash gloriously onto the beach.
well!! it just so happens that the space between the best beach in the world and skerryvore lighthouse is to be the location of the 'argyll array'..... a wind farm of up to 500 (not a misprint) wind turbines which will generate ELECTRICITY.

so let's hear it from the lads before they get swamped by the rotating blades

It'll never do. Our hero and the cool cats at the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ are into instant reaction, speed of sound response. As Norrie points out, the blog is no slower, just gives you the chance to explain yourself, add context to the request.

I've signed up for it, so far it hasn't done me any good. Someone, poor soul, who probably thinks I'm an interesteing French person, has started following me - it'll be an endless source of disappointment to them, since all they'll get is inane coments about pop music of the last fifty years without any context, bewtween the hous of 6-8:00 p.m. weekdays. I'm tempted to begin all tweets with the words 'Mon Cherie', but our hero might get the wrong idea.

By the way, those missing Jim From Erskine can now follow him on twitter too.
