Here are my suggestions:
Bowie always good value for space:
David Bowie:
Space Oddity
Hallo Spaceboy
Starman
Moonage daydream
Love Rocket F1-11 (oh yes cover of sigue sigue sputnic)
New Killer Star
Fall Dog Bombs The Moon
I took a trip on a gemini spacecraft
Lady Stardust
Shining Star
Looking For Sattelites
Loving The Alien
Star
Of those would also like to recommend to blog the fantastic re-mix of Moonage Daydream. Ronson at his absolute best. Please check this out if you ever get the chance:
David Bowie - Moonage Daydream
remixed by Alan Moulder and Alan Wright. This version is readily available officialy and was used in a Dunlop Tyre advert i think. It truly is brilliant.
Also
Pink Floyd - Astronomy Domine
Black - Fly Up To The Moon
and worth checking out
Andy Whyte - Me, The Moon, My Car and You
Must go the training for STS-134 continues. The Space shuttle Endeavour will not deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer and spare parts to the International Space Station on its own.

How do you know MD? You're a newcomer.
Aren't you?
Anyway I think the GIO team have a wee surprise for us tonight. I think they will have looked at the pages of playlists from previous Space nights and decided to give us something different.
So there will be no Bowie (sorry Norrie), no Rocket Man (unless it's Kate's version - good shout RJ), no Carpenters (sorry Senga), no Planet Earth (dont think it counts anyway), no Flash etc etc.
It'll be Space, fellow Bloggers, but not as we know it.
However, in the interest of tradition, I do think it is important that we maintain
Clouds Across The Moon - The Rah Band
for MazzyStar

Starship Trooper - Yes fortunately it comes in different recognisable chunks so you could play the last three minutes quite unproblematically.
