I have been so busy

Hello to all my fellow doggies - sorry I have been off line for a while. I have been kinda busy. Mum has been away rather a lot so Dad and I have been busy working, walking, sailing. You know just the usual kind of stuff.
We did have a visitor from Australia recently. Mum's friend came to stay for a week. I was extra well behaved as Julie is not too keen on doggies. However she couldn't fail to adore me. Just didn't seem to like me crunching my piggies ears of a night-time. But that's one habit I am not going to break for anyone (just the thought of a piggies ear makes me wish it was night-time already). Anyway, she did come for a few walks with Mum and me which was great. I love any excuse to take humans for a tour of where we live.
Things are quietening down a bit on Luing now. Most of the visitors seem to have disappeared. The other thing that has disappeared is the sun. I mean it seems to go away earlier and earlier now. I usually like to take Dad for a walk just before bedtime but now it is really dark by mid-evening. Can't get my head around this one. Seems all that happens is that I am done out of the extra walks I get earlier in the year. Hmmm... Will have to think of another way to get them to take me out and about.
Dug up an old friend recently, quite literally. What they don't know is that some of my prized possessions (the odd hare that I manage to catch) are hidden around the island. Well the other morning I suddenly had the notion to see if I could find one of my treasures and low and behold, I dug it up. Dad seemed to take exception to this and made me drop it. However, when we went back later something else had obviously found it. Never mind, I have toast buried in the garden along with other things around the island. They will never know where I hide all my things!
Went off on the boat yesterday with Dad down to Crinan. I suppose that's one good thing about the nights getting darker - he doesn't seem so keen to take the boat out. Secretly I am quite pleased about this because I don't really like too many bouncy waves when I am in the boat. Now when I am on the shore, that's a completely different thing. I love swimming and bounding through the waves. I wonder if I could persuade them to buy me a surfboard?....
Talking about waves I had a small personal tragedy recently. My frisbee was stolen by the sea. One minute I was dunking it in the waves, the next it was a goner, never to be seen again. The old girl still hasn't replaced it. And there is no hope of Dad putting his hand in his pocket to buy my another. Will just have to wait until she gets back and give her the sad eye look. That usually does the trick.
Feel in need of a bit of kip now. Hopefully I will get chance to get back on the computer real soon and have some adventures to tell you about.
