You sound very much like a sedate, civilized dog, coco, try as you will to give us a different impression. So, they forgot to feed you, and you did not help yourself to a morsel of human thigh? Clearly you are not a Viking dog...., but still a nice one, methinks.

Forgot to feed you? You deserve all the sympathy you can get, plus special treats galore. You can always try the "sore paw" variant if the treats start to run out!

i know how you feel mate-my mum did that to me the other day-think she's in love or something silly-imagine-shes -counting the days till a f**g comes back from kiwi-land, she even forgot to feed the moggies!!
"oor wullie" from feeling worried about you
What would a frog be doing in Kiwi land Carol? Did he vote? Or is he responsible (by default?) for goulash becoming the national French dish?

mjc:- do try to keep up with me!!the f**g is a physiotherapist/osteopath who fell in love with a female in nz.just after they split up she died from lung cancer but he likes the life and the climate out there,so he has his practise in auckland from november till may(the summer, over there)and works with a close friend of ours(well of mine, now)from june till end of october, our summer obviously,so there you have it,we met last june and he's the reason i went to nz for the new year!! is that clear to you now????

Hi Coco Sorry to hear of your trouble with not being feed. We don't let that happen in our house. You will have to learn to sit next to mum or dad and occassionally tap them on the knee. Eventually (people are slow on the uptake sometimes) they will get the message that you want something. It has not failed us yet! We came to visit you on Sunday the 6 May but we didn't see anything of you. We were kept in the car so it was a bit difficult. Our mum and dad thought we might find some interesting smells and run around and not return and of course we had to catch the ferry back to Seil so time was precious. Mum managed to take some photos of Luing after she had fallen out of the car and into a ditch. She didn't realise there was only enough room on the road for the car and nowhere to put her feet. Still it made us laugh. What with the wind and everything she looked like a toilet brush when she got back in the car. Still it hasn't put her off coming to live on Luing. We just need to wait for Dad to retire and then we might be able to make the move. By that time we will be too old to go chasing the sheep (aren't they white on Luing - the ones near us are a creamy grey colour). Maybe that is the idea. Hope you get some pictures of the new puppy soon and don't forget to let Bonnie know who is boss and how to live life to the full. Barney and Charlie

Hello, I am the new little princess of the family. I have been watching Coco on the internet on the Youtube site, he seems very funny and I am sure I will like to play with him. At the moment I am making myself busy making everyone fuss around me! Everyone keeps mentioning that I am a Tiger, but I can tell you I am definitely a wuffy dog. Hope to meet up with you soon Coco, you can show me around the island if I am allowed off my lead, but I need to get used to the car, as at the moment it just makes my stomach churn. BWFN Bonnie

Carol, your loveboat story is quite clear. I knew your Frenchie had magic fingers, but it was unclear as to whether he was permanently settled in NZ, and whether you were joining him for good. Thanks for the details. All the best.

mjc: glad you understand:: it is a pretty complicatd relationship, but he brings me a great sense of peace-we've been trekking for hours on end ,never saying a word, and we seem to function through thoughts, its pretty weird-his housemates in nz ended up caling us "derby and joan" don't know if its a compliment!!
carol from time goes by so slowly
