Henri...'Dat' by Pluto Shervington (little campaign Mac + I have going) makes sense if you know the lingo I reckon, but otherwise it's a bit of a jumble. They'd me more likely to play 'Gimme Dat Ding' though I suppose.

Norrie, like yourself, the initial reviews didn't help and I wasn't immediately attracted to it, though I loved Demon Days and bought it in hope more than expectation - but a couple of listens I realisid that those who had initially reviwed it hadn't listened to anymore than snippets or fully understood the breadth of the work.

It is a truly remarkable record and the first couple of intro tracks, it just flies.

I read a more recent review that said ' for those who wished Blur had made their 'White Album', this is it' and I know what they mean.

The scope in terms of styles of music, technical proficiency and sheer musical imagination is truly breathtaking.

I think if you asked those who initially reviwed it, they'd have changed their minds by now.

Definately album of the year: no contest.

Glitter Freeze,Some Kind Of nature,On Melancholy Hill/Broken/Plastic Beach/ or To Binge - Gorillaz - Plastic Beach

none of it makes any sense, but it all works just fine in describing a post - apocalypitic world
