Precious pop...
Debut singles turned out to be a headache of show to make. Don't get me wrong, it was fun and we got some good tunes in, but it was incredibly frustrating. Producer Richard's role for the night turned out to be fact checker and there were so many instances of good songs suggested which turned out to be second or third rather than first singles. Alison, Rush Hour and I Only Want To Be With You were all disallowed. 'The songs you thought were debut singles but weren't actually debut singles' sounds like a future theme.
Tuesday is precious stones - DÌýiamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend or Ruby, Don't Take Your Love To Town? You decide...

I have consulted Mr. MacLean, who feels that this version (from the album 'Ring Them Bells') is definitive. Who am I to argue?
That said, the song has been requested several times on the blog. Any version would be good to hear.
