#33 & 40 Thanks Git, I'm back home and the labrador was pleased to see me. Must make the trip back tae Glesga again soon. That wondeful mix of style icons and rejects from "The Scheme" makes walking around such an amazing experience. Highlight being the woman in Byres Road who, I think, was unaware of just how sheer her legggings were - I could read the label on her underwear. It was a very tidy sight, as she was very shapely, and the old guy limping after her on heat was a sight to see.

For Monday how about Waitin' on a Sunny Day by Bruce Springsteen, given how poor the weather was on my trip to Glasgow.

Hello, been a nice weekend.

Here are my Tuesday suggestions (duly noting Joe's great list):

Neill Maccoll was in the band The Bible with Boo Hewerdine, his brother Calum also played in this group on the odd occassion. Together they played on Nanci Griffith's Storms lp. Neill is a favourite of mine and still works with Boo, played on the last couple of David Gray albums and is touring with him and released a great album with Kathryn Williams. Neill and Calum are of course brothers to Kirsty and son of Ewan. The song I would pick is not one of Neills though, but one written by Calum and Eddi Reader

Eddi Reader - Darkhouse, a brilliant record.

Brian Wilson has a slightly less well known brother, Dennis, Pacific Ocean Blue is a great album. Farewell My Friend is a great track but River Song would be a good pick too:
