Autumn on Mull
Posted: Sunday, 02 November 2008 |
Well I gave myself a good talking to and said - sit down and write your blog! Its been too long! So here I am, on Sunday evening with the sun going down leaving the most incredible sunset. Is it still Autumn or has winter started - is there an official start date - we've had snow already and still some on the top of Ben More! but the last few days have been glorious - clear blue skies, warmth in the sunshine, touch of front first thing in the morning. The thing I love about autumn is the colours - up here, I dont know whether its something to do with the air being fresh, clean and pure, but the colours are breathtaking - trying to capture them on film just doesnt do them justice. But here are some anyway.
Craignure Golf Course
Sun bouncing off the "Isle of Mull" - snow on the mountain tops behind
Iona from Fidden

Ears Fors
Aros Park - Just outside Tobermory
Aros Park
The Japanese Garden, Torosay Castle
Bertie (think every buzzard is called Bertie) who has taken up residence in our garden!
