Co-op - here I come!

I wish my drive back from the weekly shop was as picturesque as that (though I do have a lovely view across the Dee Valley as I drive there, but it's not as good as the Sound of Mull by a long way.) Have you seen the video on youtube of the two girls dressed as bananas shopping in the Tob Co-op? It's by a Mull artist (small hint there) and it's hilarious.

AAHW NOW! Freckle, wait till the winter when the boats don't run and the real meaning of empty shelves will hit you!!!! I have a wee selection (as I guess most Mull residents have) of queries. The latest appertaining to supermarkets was "Where is Tesco's?" You can only pity the poor things! Can you imagine what the poor Co-op staff have to endure from these individuals who clearly have no comprehension of the entertainment to be had from concocting nutritional meals from the unlikeliest of ingredients? As they say, enjoy!!

I would just like to say that Isle of Mull cheddar is my most favourite cheese in the whole wide world ever. Mrs Trellis, good to see you embracing modern technology at last. Should we be expecting text messages to I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue?

If somebody doesn't publish a link to the youtube thingy soon I shall be a very very frustrated cat indeed. Imagine leaving us dangling like that *grrrraaarrrrr*

I searched on youtube and couldn't find it - saw the young lads car surfing - what is that about???? is life so worthless now that the risks taken are worth the small thrill?? don't get me on my soapbox

Sorry - the banana video seems to have gone, I'll ask the maker and see if he will post it again. I'm a huge ISIHAC fan, and friends called me Mrs Trellis when I moved to North Wales. I have a very Scottish name, so it's a joke from numerous angles. I have never written a letter to Humph, though. Seonag, when I was on Mull in early January, I overheard a couple with a small child complaining that none of the Balamory actors were there to greet the children, and that there wasn't "a theme park or anything". It takes some effort to get to Tob, you'd think they'd check out what's there before they went?

don't tell me that Miss Hoolie doesn't live in Tob or there is no PC Plum?? that's the only reason we moved here! tee hee
