Where did you get the knitting pattern for the sails?

Sounds like lots of fun. Looks like a fun boat. Good luck. Did you have to "baptize" it with champagne bottle or/and holy water etc? When are you going a-raiding? A little razzia here and then keeps one young.

would that Marvin Elliot be the same Marvin Elliot that used to bide in Orkney? He was a sculptor and ran a peedie shop called Driftwood. If so, I used to work for him (albeit briefly) and geed to school wi his daughter.

What do you think the knitting in a pub club were doing all last winter Calumannabel? Although it's mostly old gussets crotcheted togither. MJC I am ashamed to admit that we were having such a good time we forgot about alcahol! Will be remedied at largs, if we go! Apparently there is a problem regarding accomodation. They suggested we could share the stables or there is tent space! I am neither a horse or the little baby Jesus so I do not sleep in fields or stables. If Largs don't come up with somewhere decent for us I doubt we will be going, which is a shame. Will keep you all posted

Yes Ruthodanort, Marvin lives in Corrie, works to sculpture comissions and runs the village shop. Small world etc.

Further to Ruthodanorts comment, Marvin and Marion got married last week, we celebrated at their reception on Saturday night. It was a fantastic party and a pleasure to see them both so very happy.
