Calling All Fanksters!

Calling Calumannabel, Annie Beag, BoB, GrannieE and all other fanksters! Further to my last blog, how about a Viking Festival for next years Fank? Might open the gene pool up a bit with all Northern and Eastern European types? Tiered Father of Sebastapol might actually offload the colonial daughters if the blokes they are whittering on to can't understand their whingeing? The Vikings bring their accomodation with them drink out of horns (saving on paper cups) and eat fire so all the more guga & hegehog delight for us!

P.S. It's the basket weavers 40th birthday soon and we are looking for a suitably rediculous venue, any suggestions?

Calumannabel is away on a fact finding Fank mission with Donald in Uzbeckistan; Annie Beag is on a Sabbatical at Ann Arbor University having won a Lofty Peak Scholarship. Dame Ellie is in Brussels lobbying for a public bathhouse in Auchenshuggle with fluoride in the water while BoB is poet in residence at Queensland University over the summer. A 40th venue for the basket weaver ? - The Singing Room of the Phalarope and Whistle is great for parties.

G'day cobber! Viking Festival sounds good to me, do we bring our own longships? Will start on my beard now to avoid disappointment.

Splendid idea. Searching for appropriate kit and have tossed shaver in the bin. Colonial Daughters not to be told of this Extravaganza. Nor the Colonial Mother. 'Tis my turn to meet new people, explore new culinary treats and to drink with abandon. Dancing and singing required, I assume. Would appreciate any helps and hints as I am quite rusty in these matters. Will practice diligently. Have placed inquiry on E-Bay for Nordic Karaoke machine and dance primer. Does anyone have any of those paper dance steps to place on the floor? Is this the sort of nonsense you are looking for?

Feeding the burds has taken up a lot of time as well, and ma' sunflowers are 4 feet tall already .... and it's only July. My sair bunnion is givvin me gip .... rubbin' it wi' seaweed disnae work. Unless a' wis usin'g the wrang type .... but the mannie in Invernesh said it wid cure anythin'.

Tossing shavers? Surely more appropriate to Highland Games than Fanks. And are you quite certain it's the bunion you're meant to rub with seaweed? Would bladder wrack help? What about a stiff helping of bara brith? I do hope these suggestions are kelpful.
