For a Motown record the Four Tops version was incredibly badly produced, it can't take any volmume without distortion.

I'm not familar with the original but searching for it i cam across this:

No kidding. I thought Engelbert's disco version of Strangers In the Night was in a class of it's own.

Eric thinks Elie Goulding's cover of Your Song the worst record ever made but I have to tell you it has been surpassed.

Utterly tasteless with no redeeming features, a complete travesty which denies the song's ability to describe the emotional turmoil of the decision to let her go.

A cover version with absolutely no feeling whatsoever, it is indescribably awful.

i commend it to the house as the worst record ever made.
