Missed that about 7:84. Was it on the show? Is that the 7:84 company you're talking about? I saw Bill Paterson & the 7:84 company doing the play "Cheviot the stag & the black black oil" at some theatre in Edinburgh in 1973. A brilliant performance.

If memory serves, it means that 7% of the population own 84% of Scottish land. Hope it's different now

7% of the population own 84% of the wealth.......................the music in these productions and the 'wildcat spin-off' was brilliant........and dave anderson last seen compering the 'may day' rally in the old fruitmarket just a few weeks ago.....grassroots theatre could do with another shot in the arm. and if the scottish government had any vision it would fund a production of the 'big picnic' to coincide with the 100 years since the start of WW1.
'wildcats' best was 'the complete history of rock and roll'......a real joy.

My colleague Shorty is going to Bryan Ferry at Edinburgh Castle.... I was offered tickets this afternoon at £50:00 each but due to my social life being organised weeks in advance can't go....

Friday night is visiting my mother, the ayatollah (may her beard grow ever longer). Sister Margaret is away just now so brother Jack is up and I believe our Spud is visiting too...
