Mood music...
I was also taken back in time when I heard Suzy Boguss sing Outbound Plane as she was the very first artist I interviewed on ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Scotland. It was one of several good tunes (Al Stewart was great) on what was a very busy night. Well done bloggers - your first theme was a hit.
Tuesday's theme is grumpy. It's your theme suggestion but allow me to suggest that we do famously grumpy pop stars alongside grumpy subject matter in song. So, grumpy pop stars, grumpy songs...just not grumpy bloggers eh?

Van Morrison is the most fabulous grumpy git to see in concert!! Saw him in the Ironworks in Inverness a couple of years ago. He had the bar closed before he came on, and any folk with drinks had to stand behind a taped line on the floor. He never acknowledged the crowd once, but man did he get through the songs and it was one of the best gigs I have ever, ever been too! I would love him to be my Gramps!!!
Right ~ I'm off to refresh a pot of coffee, if anyone would liek to join me, and put my thinking cap on!

This really is very good, catchy, easy, drivetime on theme number: Our hero has always struck me as someone who doesn't 'get' McCartney - but check this out.
