My pal and I plan to make a trip to Memphis and Nashville in October, I may stay on in the states before hitting Vegas in November. If so I will fly to Phoenix and drive up through the desert. I cannot think of anything better than being accompanied by the following:

Road trip this summer involves moving no. 1 child from Atlanta to Alabama a musical journey which start with America Niel Diamond or letter from America from our very own Proclaimers with Georgia (can't remember who sings it) for current location ending in Muscle shores Alabama as mentioned in Sweet home Alabama where the famous swampers are from and all the bits in between filled with 'A little bit of country a little bit of rock and roll' and knowing no.1 some brand new Indie too are we there yet?

Back from Manchester & The Wall


I gotta little black book with my poems in......


What a show, pure theatre from first to last. There was even a model Spitfire with a 12 foot wingspan flying past and bursting into flames as it hit The Wall at the climax of the first track, 'Outside The Wall'. The graphics shone onto the wall were brilliant; at one point you believed the entire structure was spinning on a centre vertical axis. All that was missing on the night was David Gilmour himself but, even so, the highlight of the gig was 'Comfortably Numb' with Dave Kilminster in the spotlight atop the wall.
