from the O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack. I learned this song from a Readers Digest compilation my parents had, so when it popped up on the closing credits, I sang along at full volume. Given that I was on a transatlantic flight at the time, it garnered me some odd looks. But totally worth it.

Dont mean to sound Scroogelike but "Angel"songs are usually so sentimental they make me want to wreck a christmas tree.Came up with three very different angel songs though.Laurie Anderson is about as sentimental as Ivan the Terrible so I love her song (and album)"Strange Angels"Secondly,Aretha Franklin's "Angel",what can you say,stunning,and lastly a wee song I first heard in a Wim Wenders "roadmovie"Until The End of the World"boring movie ,great soundtrack including Nick Cave,U2 and a haunting little song almost whispered by Jane Siberry and kd lang caled "Calling All Angels".Bryan,you're an "Angel"if you can find this beauty!thanks Willie Bartke
