Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed Fever. I think the team must have liked it too because that's the first time I've had two tracks picked on the same night, though 'Fever' wasn't acknowledged as such.

I found it by accident when I was revisiting the Southside Johnny track, 'The Fever', on Spotify. I was completely blown away with the Adam Freeland Remix of Sarah Vaughn - anyway, it turns out Verve have remixed lots of these jazz standards, there's a whole series of them and some of it is breathtaking. I stuck Fever on loud at New Year and the whole place was jumpin.

I always ask for songs I want to hear. The idea of requesting a song or band just because they match a theme is anathema to me. I'm sure you've noticed that Uncle Vic is not as forthcoming as Bryan when it comes to playing Country music. If going through the motions of asking Julie to make the request on my behalf gets the song played, I regard that as a result.
