Tuesday, October 20th will be the 32nd anniversary of the plane crash in Mississippi in which the two pilots and four of the passengers, Dean Kilpatrick, Ronnie Van Zant and siblings Steve & Cassie Gaines lost their lives.

Long story, short:- Springsteen tour announced. Work/holiday commitments made Hamburg the only viable option. Bought flights/booked hotel first. Failed to get tickets online. Travelled hoping to buy tickets at the stadium only to discover the concert had been postponed until 27 June (2005). Great weekend, great city, but missed Bruce.

As an aside if any one could tell me the show that Lou performed several tracks from that album on UK tv possible OGWT if it was still going that would be appreciated. Band had Robert Quine, Fernando Saunders and I think Fred Maher.
