All you do is talk talk...
If only they gave out gold medals for talking then perhaps my trophy cabinet would rival that of Sir Chris Hoy. I had the honour of meeting Scotland's greatest ever Olympian when he came along to a cycling event I hosted in Glasgow at the weekend. A great guy to chat to and an inspiration to everyone who was there. Over three weekends I am undertaking what can only be described as a talking triathlon! The bike bit was at Skyride when thousands of Glaswegians took to the city streets which were cleared of traffic for the day. From 8am till 4pm I talked and talked and talked about cycling.
ÌýThe running bit will be the Great Scottish Run next weekend when I'll be assuming my usual commentary position at the start of the race. I won't be running, however Miss Babs, Kirsten and Richard are so I'll be cheering on my production team.
This weekend though I'll be doing the swim part at the Great Scottish Swim. It's a mile open water swim at Strathclyde Park and it's my job to commentate on the day's action. As well as hundreds of ordinary swimmers there are two elite races. At the last count there were 5 Olympians, 1 world champion, 1 Commonwealth champion and the bloke reckoned to be one of the best triathletes on the planet. No pressure then...

This was a handicap race from Helensburgh Pier to Craigendoran Pier and sometimes had to be aware of the Dunoon Steamers arriving along side at Craigendoran Pier whilst were finishing... Now that was pressure!

Drumchapel Pool was one of the first new build 'metre-length' pools I was ever to grace. Seem to re-call it was the Western District time-trials and the new Speedo's 'Royal Blue with White Panels' were just a tad too big and lycra wasn't as yet invented!
B.T.W. Good call with yer 'Blue eyes crying in the rain' duet.

My Mom is an outstanding track.

How about songs with "the" in the title as a follow up? Is that to give the facebook people a chance to think of something?

Hunners of songs have 'one' in the title! You could have a theme of 'numeric song titles' actually - you could have:
American Pie
Pie Jesu
and even...
Petootie Pie by Ella Fitzgerald of Elgin - so-named as it caught fire whilst baking and had to be ejected through the kitchen window.
