RJ - I don't suppose any of the tracks off that album are available anywhere? Maybe some obscure EP with the odd track off it?

'Hiroshima' & 'One Way Love' ended up on 'Frantic' and 'Cruel', 'Nobody Loves Me', 'Fool For Love', 'San Simeon' where re-recorded for the 'Frantic' album. 'This Love' ended up on 'Slave To Love Best Of The Ballads' and 'Sonnet 18' ended up on the Diana Tribute album. DJ Hell has just released a mix of 'You Can Dance' on his latest album leaving 'Love War', 'Alphaville' and a version of The Drifters 'I Don't Want To Go On Without You' are still unreleased in any form.

Ferry has recorded a lot material over the years that he has not released including a sunning version of John Lennon's 'What Ever Gets You Through The Night' He did an album called 'Horoscope' and some of the material was re-recorded for 'Mamouna' but most of it still on a shelf. Some more Dylan covers left over from his last album, a Serge Gainsbourg track and a Little Feat song are among the unreleased covers he has done. His version of 'Send In The Clowns' and Phyliss Nelson's 'Move Closer' are good reasons why unreleased tracks don't get chosen for release.

DC - I envied you your situation tonight, and not just because of the weather. As you know, my family come from up the east coast and I know your place really well. My great grandfather and my grandfather both as boys had the job of making and fixing the creels for the fishermen out of Montrose and Ferryden. The sheil where they worked is still there and I have a photo of me standing beside it. It must be the oldest hut in existence by now! I thought I should take the snap before it fell down!
