The garden - tatties galore!

My ankle is doing better these days and one of my pleasures is to be outside in the fresh air weeding one of our tattie patches. Erlend planted them and we bought a dutch hoe so I could weed them - a skill I learned while spending part of a summer at a monastery! (You learn a lot of useful things with nuns...)

It looks like Christina or Jackie or Mary have taken to felting in the sky....they may be lenticular...but I can't be sure...no doubt someone with a meteorological connection will correct this if it's wrong!

I was wondering if a girl might learn even usefuller things with monks.....but then, I thought of the Papa Stronsay monks and them being Transalpine Redemptorists and very strict and all......so probably not. Lovely straight rigs.
