A sunken lawn and high clipped trees provide a sense of weightlessness to signify lifting stress and pressure off everyday life.
Beds of interesting perennials and exotics surround the sunken lawn.
The solid hedge at the back is broken by a floating roof, magically ‘growing’ out from it.
A bed full of white peonies fills a hard landscaped area between the box clipped hornbeam on the left and the floating pavilion to the right..

This is Charlie Albone’s second garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. His first, The Time In Between, won a Silver Gilt in 2015.
