Ben Stokes has just taken Andy Gorvin for two sixes in consecutive overs and is now up to 80.

    Durham are 287-6 against Glamorgan.

Leicestershire have been bowled out for 210 by Sussex - but that’s a good effort from 144-8.

Jack Haynes is out for 133 in Worcestershire’s 291-4 at Derby.

And Haseeb Hameed has gone for 112 with Notts 280-5 at Lord’s.

for Croftpublished at 17:12 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 236-2

And there's Steven Croft's Roses match hundred!

It's been a brilliant knock from the former skipper and he brings it up with a 16th boundary - a sweet cover drive off Jordan Thompson.

He'll be determined to see it through to stumps now with his mate Keaton Jennings. 15 overs to go.

  3. 50 runs

for Foakespublished at 17:11 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 247-3

Ben Foakes' stellar season continues for Surrey.

The England wicketkeeper goes to his third half-century in six innings as his average climbs to just under 118.

His stand of 125 with England team-mate Ollie Pope is taking this game away from Kent.

  4. new ball

New ballpublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 231-2

Jordan Thompson takes the new ball for Yorkshire.

Will it make a difference? The hosts need it to sing at Headingley.

  5. Postpublished at 16:58 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

Lots of runs for not many wickets in Division One so far today - off the top of my head I make it nine wickets taken for 1,031 runs.

  6. Postpublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 219-2

Yorkshire don't know where to turn for a wicket.

Steven Croft drives Tom Loten through the covers with force to move to 89.

Lancashire's third-wicket partnership is now worth 207. Utter dominance from the visitors since lunch.

  7. 300 runs

up for Northantspublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Warks v Northants 300-1

Emilio Gay has joined Will Young and the pair have taken Northants to a third batting point.

  8. 50 runs

    Durham 226-6 v Glamorgan

    Martin Emmerson
    ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Newcastle

Ben Stokes broke the Durham record for the fastest first-class century a week ago when making three figures in 64 balls. So, in comparison, his half century today was far more sedate.

It took 74 balls and included 6x4s. After blasting 17 sixes last week, there hasn't been one today.

His partnership with Ned Eckersley, which has just come to an end, was worth 54 for the sixth wicket. Eckersley was dismissed for 21, caught behind off Michael Neser.

The wicket doesn't seem too bad. If anything the greenery on it has left it a touch on the slow side and some of the shots we have seen this afternoon have reflected this.

for Jenningspublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 205-2

A Roses match century for Keaton Jennings!

It's a second hundred in as many innings this season for the left-handed opener and a third in a row against Yorkshire.

His unbroken stand of 193 with Steven Croft has put Lancashire firmly in the driving seat at Headingley.

  10. 250 runs

up for Somersetpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Glos v Som 251-3

A second batting point for Somerset as James Hildreth pulls Zak Chappell for four.

  11. Postpublished at 16:30 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 203-2

Keaton Jennings is making us wait for his century.

The Lancashire opener has been stuck on 99 for a few overs now and just survived a close lbw shout from Haris Rauf.

  12. 100 runs

for Hameedpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Middlesex v Notts 231-4

Lot's of good news for England fans so far this season...

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Vasconcelos lbw b McAndrew 156 (Warks v Northants 287-1)

Northants were approaching 500 runs without losing a wicket against Warwickshire but Ricardo Vasconcelos has fallen two balls into the evening session.

He just a bit slow to come forward to Nathan McAndrew, misses with a drive and is lbw.

End of a wonderful innings. 21 fours and two sixes.

But my he’ll still be disappointed.

There was a massive score there on what appears to be a section of the M5.

  14. Stokes finding form againpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Division Two update

    Ben StokesImage source, Getty Images

Durham were 130-4 when Ben Stokes arrived but the England Test captain has dragged them to 224-5 against Glamorgan.

Stokes is 49 not out at tea.

Elsewhere Notts’ Haseeb Hameed, on 97, and Steven Mullaney have taken the visitors to 227-4 at Lord’s against Middlesex.

Leicestershire are 161-8 against Sussex, with England's Ollie Robinson unable to bowl after one over this morning.

And Jack Haynes is 91 not out for Worcestershire, who are 209-2 at Derby.

  15. 'Increasingly flat pitch'published at 16:12 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Glos v Somerset 229-3

    Anthony Gibson
    ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Radio Somerset

    Gloucestershire's session.

Against the run both of play and expectation, they removed Somerset's openers when both were seemingly in full flow, in the space of two overs, Tom Lammonby caught in two minds and the gully, Matt Renshaw bowled by Ryan Higgins, playing back when he should have been forward.

Tom Banton's white-ball instincts betrayed him once again, when he pushed hard at a Higgins delivery that he could safely have ignored.

The Gloucestershire bowling lacked nothing in honest endeavour, but again lacked much devil, on what looks like an increasingly flat pitch.

  16. Postpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 195-2

That's not great from Haris Rauf to start the session.

Two full tosses are dealt with by Keaton Jennings, first a clip off the legs and the second a straight drive.

    He's on to 95.

  17. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Yorkshire v Lancashire 187-2

Back out for the final session on day one at Headingley.

Can Yorkshire fight their way back into this match with a few wickets? It didn't look that way for most of the afternoon.

  18. Tea at Edgbastonpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Warks v Northants 287-0

Will Young and Ricardo Vasconcelos have been pouring it on all day.

Almost four-and-a-half an over their progress.

Vasconcelos takes tea 156 and Young 112.

Huge ones seemingly there for the taking.

  19. Tea at Beckenhampublished at 15:58 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Kent v Surrey 206-3

Kent got themselves back into the game with three early wickets in the session, but a stand of 83 between Ollie Pope (51*) and Ben Foakes (35*) has put Division One leaders Surrey back in the driving seat.

  20. Tea at Bristolpublished at 15:53 British Summer Time 12 May 2022

    Glos v Som 229-3

A better session for Gloucestershire with three wickets but it’s still Somerset right on top after a 172-run opening stand between Matt Renshaw, who made 94, and Tom Lammonby, 76.
