Squidgy the Otter from Bowled Over

Lovely photos, IL, how stunningly blue the sea is. Lucky you!

Jill from EK

Great pix IL, but if you could put a discription under each pic, you know, say what we're looking at, even if it is just a bland, brief comment as per FC. Cheery...

Tws from The Critical View

Beautiful photos IL - glad you have a lovely day yesterday too! Makes you feel so good inside! Its also nice to see the other islands - i want to get round all the islands someday but in the meantime the photos are a great substitute!

Wild Freckle from Mull

Tormod from somewhere not nearly as beautiful

Wow. Island Life. You鈥檙e full of surprises! These photos are quite stunning. Well done. It鈥檚 nice to be able to see a part of where you live. P.S. where鈥檚 your wee dug?

Duncan from Brum

WOW!! Is that tws giving FC a sideways compliment? * Or is bland and brief not good?

Nic from Coll

Aren't those the Luskentyre sands that the Spanish Armada's gold got buried under. When I was a small boy, I remember hearing a story that the treasure ship ran aground near Luskentyre and some local man rescued its gold and buried it under the sand. However he got too greedy and went back to the ship one more time and drowned in the process, taking the secret of where the gold was buried to the grave.

Malkie from Glasgow

No it bl**dy isn't!!!

Flying Cat from a hard stare

I never looked at it that way Nic, so maybe it is, but if so, it's unintentional.

Tws from The Croft Lewis

Thanks for the inspiration,

A beautiful shade of blue but bone-chillingly coooold!

Flying Cat from it looks like the Med

You just can't take a bad pic of Harris! As for temp of water, don't go by the skinnydipping pics on my 'hebridean weather' page on my website... They were either brave souls or complete nutters... you choose...

Heb Life from the northern bit of the island...
