DECEMBER IN LISMORE We've had extra ferries laid on for the cattle, The loading and driving has proved quite a battle. One from "Dan's", Baligarve has damaged a leg, But Big David's now quite a rich man, so its said. While we work we think sometimes of Jane up her glen, Wrestling to manage wild bracken and ben. We picture her striding out over the heather, Guarding deer and pheasant whatever the weather. Imagine our horror to find we were wrong. She was sitting indoors at a desk all along. While we wrestle with livestock and knacker ourselves, She's been at the computer, playing with elves! Happy Christmas!
