My name is Auxilia Kamuchira. I come from Zimbabwe. I’ve one little boy - my one and only best boy - and the only reason for me to survive. I used to sing this for my baby who’d go to sleep as soon as he heard these words:
‘Here’s your nice bed’ (you will be imagining there’s a bed flying up in sky) br>
‘Hey nice bed where are you going? br>
Please, come to me, br>
Come let’s play together.’
And the bed will say br>
‘Oh no, I’m going into the clouds br>
I want to be as nice as the clouds.’
I used to sing this for my baby because he likes it. Even now, he’ll sing this song himself whenever he wants to sleep. He likes this one so much even when he’s tired or disappointed, he’ll go in his room and sing it.
