Tasha Danvers

Appeared on the Olympics Special - Wednesday 18th July 2012

A British Bronze Olympic medal winner in the 400 metre hurdles in the Beijing Olympics 2008, Tasha – from South London - has overcome many obstacles in her career.

She was cast aside by the sporting community in 2004 for missing the Olympics to give birth to her son. However she bounced back from this and returned to the Games ‘bigger and better’.

A late injury has stopped her dream of taking part in the London 2012 Olympics, but she’s done the next best thing and agreed to be a panellist on Free Speech. Be prepared: she’s got a lot to say for herself. Tasha loves public speaking, television presenting and has already appeared on A Question Of Sport.

Sounds like we’re getting a bit of a pro on all levels here…
