7 must-see acts at Reading on Saturday

We're knee-deep into the festival weekend and it's only getting started.

To help out the festival-goers, or even the stay-at-home-and-maybe-leave-the-house-a-few-times-goers, we've put together a list of some of the must see acts who will be rocking out at Reading today. Oh, and keep an eye out for the 成人快手 Introducing bonus act below too.

If you're wondering how to get in on the action, then wonder no more. Here's the full lowdown on from home. Spoiler alert: we'll be live streaming the event too.

1. Red Hot Chili Peppers

The musical talent that hold is astonishing, and the chance to see them live is one that can’t be missed.

Maybe it’s Californication, maybe it’s Scar Tissue, or maybe even Under The Bridge that had you gazing out the window as a teenager feeling emotional and pondering the enigma of life. Honour yourself and the teen inside you by witnessing the band in their current glory, ahead of their new album The Getaway.

RHCP have been nominated for 16 Grammy Awards, of which they've won six and are the most successful band in alternative rock radio history.

2. Blossoms

2016 has certainly been ' year, rising to attention following the release of their debut album Charlemagne. After finishing fourth in the 成人快手’S Sound Of (from being one of two guitar bands on the list), the indie pop five-piece are set to bring their wavy and mesmerising vocals to Reading, acting as the cherry on top of the festival lineup.

3. Two Door Cinema Club

The Irish indie rock band formed in 2007 and have since established themselves as a treasured festival act.

lighthearted yet moving melodies are what festivals are all about, making it impossible not to sway along with the people next to you in the crowd. The blend of quirky guitar and pop makes for infectious and enjoyable music.

4. Slaves

One of the best things about is their distinctive approach to music. Described as "British punk with harsh bluesy garage”, the duo from Kent are hard not to notice.

The duo are a musical art form. They take you back to the old days of punk making you fight the urge to mosh yourself into an oblivion (but seriously, please mosh carefully).

After hearing their tracks you’ll be a guaranteed crowd member for their set.

5. Jack Garratt

A master of multi-instruments, a showman extraordinaire and a songwriting champion: is heading to Reading and is ready to have you all dancing and singing manically.

It doesn’t even matter if you haven’t heard his tracks before - after watching him live you’ll want to hear everything else he's ever done. As well as exhausted from the endless bopping.

6. Eagles Of Death Metal

One of the USA's finest rock bands, have stood the test of time, serving us irresistible rock bangers for just under 30 years. The effortlessly cool I Want You So Hard and Complexity are among their most popular tracks.

Jesse Hughes, vocalist and guitarist, is renowned for his enthusiastic interaction with audience members at live performances. If their rockstar flair and musical talent doesn’t entice you, surely that will.

7. Nas

Does this man even need an introduction? Rapper and songwriter is hip hop royalty and has been dishing out hit after hit during his 25 years of work.

It's rare that someone so vastly celebrated is available to be seen live, so this opportunity is one that cannot be missed.
