Nas - The World Is Yours (Reading + Leeds 2016)

The legendary rapper performs a classic on the NME / Radio 1 Stage

1. Nas

When you have the legendary Nas almost topping the bill on the NME/成人快手 Radio 1 Stage at Reading, there is no question that it's going to be seriously fire.

Nas made his Reading and Leeds debut in an actual cloud of flames - and it got more lit from there on in.

2. Boy Better Know

Boy Better Know - Too Many Man (Reading + Leeds 2016)

You can always rely on BBK to bring the noise

BBK didn't emerge in flames to the dramatic strains of Carmina Burana but they did totally destroy the main stage crowd on Friday.

It's never too many man when the UK's biggest grime collective throw it down.

Getting your FIRE a day

3. Disclosure

Disclosure - Omen (Reading + Leeds 2016)

The electronic brother duo light up Reading

Disclosure lit up the main stage on Friday evening - by that we mean they literally lit it up with about 2 million lazers.

Disclosure might one of the least likely headliners Reading's ever had, as two blokes and some keyboards - not exactly rock'n'roll destruction.

But they brought the beats down like they were gonna give the crowd sunburn. Absolutely MASSIVE.

4. Giggs

Giggs - Whippin' Excursion (Reading + Leeds 2016)

Get your grime fix from the NME / Radio 1 Stage

Giggs lit it up on the NME/成人快手 Radio 1 Stage on Friday.

When you emerge through a haze of smoke and lazers, drop the hottest grime hooks and keep it slow, you know that moment the whole crowd is jumping is a sign to check your tent because there is fire on site.

5. Krept and Konan

When you're on the NME/成人快手 Radio 1 Stage just before Nas, you've got no choice - you've gotta set fire to the whole place.

Wrapped up like they were going to the Arctic, Krept and Konan got it lit with their brand of dirty, sick beats and making the crowd shout fuel to the flames.
