We |
were
quite busy. Terrible day, never worked so hard. Went to the |
pictures

made
a hole in a new pair of stockings, right in the knee. my unlucky |
day. |

Jerry
called so we made a foursome and all went to the Royal for |
supper,
later went to the Forum to see Jean Arthur in |
'Lady
Takes a Chance'. Very good film. Made a date for following |
Wednesday.
His name was Frank, quite a nice boy. Irene was quite |
thrilled
at seeing him, his home is in New York. |

Day. Jackie gave me a powder bowl, it's very nice. And got |
money
from Mum and Dad. In the evening Jackie and I went to |
Rialto
it was awful to come home so we had a bit of a party. We had |
some
fun. |
