I need your help

Matt Fincham | 13:09 UK time, Thursday, 17 April 2008

Morning,

I'm Matt, usually the Assistant Producer of the show, but whilst Rachel's away on holiday I'm day producing. It's very exciting, but quite nerve-wracking at the same time! So far the team have eased me in gently and I haven't made (too many) cock-ups. So, all good so far.

Chris spent a lot of today's show discussing last night's edition of The Apprentice. Unfortunately Cara (who's doing my normal job) inadvertently gave away the ending yesterday as she'd seen a preview DVD of the episode. Grrrrrr. Anywho, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the show too much.

I watched it with my housemates and we were all getting increasingly irate with Claire (pictured) and Alex who seemed determined to undermine poor Simon at every turn. I wasn't sure how genuine he was to begin with, but last night he seemed like a good honest bloke who was determined to do well in the task and give his all as team leader. I was genuinely gutted when Sir Alan uttered the words "with regret, you're fired". How that sly, calculating and downright despicable Claire got through is beyond me. Let's hope that she ends up with egg on her face next week when she's team leader. And Alex is clearly spineless too.

Anywho, in other exciting news, the Golden Hour returns tomorrow morning. Chris picks a load of classic tracks from a particular year between 9 and 9.30 and then between 9.30 and 10 each member of the team picks a classic record they really really love. With Rach being off, I've got to chose a record - but my problem is that there's far too many to pick from!

If you've got any decent suggestions of a decent dance record I could pick, drop me a line! (I don't do trance or anything along those lines).
