Ready Steady........ COOK!

Post categories:

Dom | 07:55 UK time, Wednesday, 21 February 2007

The Director of Comedy, Comedy Dave and myself had a great day yesterday. As we are both "new men" - we thought it was only right that we show people how great we are at cooking!!! Ready Steady Cook is one of my favourite ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ daytime cookery shows so what better place to showcase our skills. And what a day!!!

Dave and I were both a bit nervous ahead of meeting our chefs. My chef was Gino Ginelli - the small italian man. I like him a lot. Dave had a man called Steve Spanner I think. He seemed to like him too.

I won't tell you what happened as it would ruin the right royal treat that awaits you - but suffice to say it was hilarious. Ainsley Harriet is a very nice bloke too - despite being an Arsenal fan.

You can see some photos of our cooking fun here.

My fingers still smell of fish the morning after strangely.

On that bombshell..... See you soon. The show goes out next Wednesday 28th Feb by the way.

Good bye now...

Why didn't they put a bit more make up on Dave? - He was lovely as usual but a bit shiny!

Joss Stone was ace yesterday. I've lived in Scotland most of my life and still have my English accent, yet two years in California gave me a twang, so I wasn't part of the mob baying for her blood last week. Plus, her hair looks great and she shut Dave up for such a long time. Bonus score.

Anyway, I'd rather hear her complain about the troubles of fame in her husky voice than Rachel with her aesthetically-challenged accent banging on about how great chocolate is. Again.

How many other ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ daytime cookery shows do you watch ;-)

Can't wait to see you both on it though. Should be a laugh!

Already have it on Sky+ Mr Dominic! Looks like it could be a good show. I just caught the tail end of that conversation this morning and wondered what it was. Now I know! Looking forward to it!

PS: Love the Jeremy Clarkson style ending!
