Hello Rat Fans, as Roland Rat used to say.

Well this is a treat isn’t it? I don’t think I’ve actually written a blog this year. I’ve managed to pass on this laborious task for the past few weeks but after my big Birthday show yesterday, I thought I better do one...

Also, it means I don’t have to bother for another two months. Result.

So the show went well yesterday (22nd) I thought. We had lots of birthday greetings from the dragons from Dragon's Den to footballers who didn’t know what my surname was!

Then Joss Stone came on the show to defend herself after her appearance at the Brits this year. I personally think that she is a nice girl who has actually gone crackers. I also thought it was an AMAZING interview. Bonkers and 34 B, where else would you find this out!

Then my main present was revealed to me, the keys to Alton Towers for the day, wicked.

So we all headed off to Staffordshire on a luxury coach to Alton Towers with the team and a few friends. Amazing. Highlights included, bumper cars. How many people have done bumper cars knowing EVERYBODY in the other cars. Watching EVERYBODY ELSE ride Oblivion for an hour, and then finally flying around on Air three times in a row before feeling a bit sick!

Then a three and a half hour long ride home before getting to bed at midnight. I had such a great day. Thanks to everybody involved and thanks for tuning in.

See you next year in New York - hint hint!!

You guys have changed my opinion of radio 1 (its still crap) only joking. Thought you were good on the Charlotte Church but sorry you are far to hot for Hilary. In fact I am married to a Chris Moyles lookalike (except he just lost 4 stone , but before that you could have been twins, meant in the nicest possible way of course)

Hi Chris

I love the show but am missing celebrity tarzan this week. Just wanted to say that your impression of Duncan Bannatyne is fantastic !! I am Scottish and love Dragons Den too. The funniest thing I have ever heard was 'Terry' calling the challenge TV Quizz show and guessing 'Barry Potter' ha ha...

Hello Chris.
Well, i cant believe i've come across your radio one blog site;and you've actually published a post!.I found it when i was tracing a referring URL,(if this sounds to geeky,i'm sure Aled will explain) back from a post i put on my site The post was about your very unique, and thoroughly entertaining interview with 'pop deva' Joss stone. The post even made it onto ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Americas web site;and so far has attracted 500 hits.
Anyway i am a big fan of the show, and think so far this year you and the team have raised the entertainment bench mark even higher.I have also read(don't worry i'm not a stalker)your book;and written a good review about it on Amazons 'review this book' facility.
Keep up the good work!;you certainly are the omnipotent force in popular radio!.Cheers!,Shaun(Editor:shaun's bicester info blog).

I think her comments on Corrine Baily Rae were totally uncalled for as she is fantastic. Pull your socks up Joss plz.
