How to form and use a perfect infinitive

The perfect or past infinitive refers to something that has happened in the past and it is formed using avoir or 锚迟谤别 (in their infinitive form) with a past participle.

It is used commonly with 补辫谤猫蝉 to indicate a past event. For example:

  • 补辫谤猫蝉 avoir mang茅, on est all茅s en ville - after having eaten, we went into town
  • 补辫谤猫蝉 锚迟谤别 arriv茅, il a parl茅 脿 tout le monde - after arriving he spoke to everyone
  • elle s鈥檈st habill茅e 补辫谤猫蝉 s鈥櫭侔 lav茅e - she got dressed, after having a wash
