Worst Wipeout: Totally screwing up a take off on a heavy rogue set, doing a nice forward splat into the sea while the waves tried to take my upper and lower halves in two different directions before surfacing to catch my board with my face - you may think that doesn't take much skill, but you try doing it on purpose!
Favourite Manoeuvre: Right now, anything upright.
Worst Surfing Habit: Not paying attention while sitting out back, missing good waves and almost drifting out to Ilfracombe.
Best Surfing Experience: Finally having it all come together and popping up to ride a wave into the beach.
Weirdest Surfing Experience: Stepping on something under the water, which flicked my primal fear switch - the upside was that I found out exactly how fast I can paddle :-)
Other Interests: I enjoy the pleasures of pizza, beer and not working.
