The pupils at Moorside High School in Werrington in Stoke-on-Trent made their own films.

The boy's film looks at war games from a boy's perspective.
The girl's film tells the fantasy tale of what would happen if they gave their librarian a makeover.

Gemma Potts & Uganda

Gemma from Stafford has returned from volunteering as a teacher in a village in Uganda.听听 She was so moved by what she saw that she set up a scheme for Stafford families to make regular payments to the village. See her story, filmed by friend David Perham.

North Staffs Organ Soc.

The North Staffordshire organ society was formed in 1969 and today it has 172 members.听听 This is a film to show that there's more to organ playing than meets the eye.

Tribute to Unity House

As the demolition of Unity House in Hanley continues, a short film has been made a in memory of the building known to some as "Faulty Towers".
Local fimmakers Michelle Martin and Chris Darwen produced their tribute to Unity House, which has dominated Stoke's skyline since it was built in 1973.

Gaz Mayer comedy show

If laughter is the best medicine then this could be the perfect treatment. Gaz Mayer from Newcastle has written produced and filmed his own comedy sketch show.
The full half hour show starring him and his merry men was filmed while he was at college in Newcastle, and these are just a couple of the characters from the show.

Dancing with Dinosaurs

Dancing with Dinosaurs is a the first ever animation made by Stoke film maker Chris Stone back in 1997.

"Granny Does Some Knitting" is a stop animation piece done by Phillipa Rice from Staffordshire university. The short piece with music composed by Phillipa shows a granny and grandchild enjoyed the wonderful world of knitting.

Man with Umbrella

'There's a Man in the Habit of Hitting me on the Head with an Umbrella' is an eccentric tale of a peculiar relationship. This comical tale of perpetual torment, filmed by Chris Hood, examines those petty annoyances that you just can't live with, and poses the question, "Could you live without them?" We look at the making of the film.

A journalism student has made a film about a day in the life of a 16-year-old referee. Ben Stott has been refereeing football games across Staffordshire since the age of 11 and now referees for adult county football teams in and around Uttoxeter.
