    Brazil 0-0 Panama

I'd love to tell you chances for Panama, but I can't, they've hardly got beyond the halfway line. Adriana almost gets on the end of a cross, before Lauren heads wide.

The only good news for Panama is that it's 0-0, but for how long?

Debinha almost gets through, but Panama goalkeeper Yenith Bailey is grateful to grab and fall on the ball. Bailey is going to be very, very busy over the next hour and a half.

It's an attack versus defence kind of game. Tamires makes a mess of a shooting opportunity when off balance and it goes out for a throw-in, to give Panama a much-needed breather.

    Brazil 0-0 Panama

Brazil nearly score inside the opening 45 seconds. Bia Zaneratto leads the charge, she slides a pass through to Adriana and she only has the goalkeeper to beat but her shot is saved by the legs of Panama's Yenith Bailey.

A lot of teams in England are keeping an eye on Kerolin.

She's quick, got great feet and plenty of energy. She's only 23 but she is naturally talented.

In America [with North Carolina Courage] she plays as a centre forward but Pia Sundhage is playing her in centre midfield.

Substitute Lineth Cedeno secured victory for Panama with a 75th-minute goal, heading in a free-kick from captain Marta Cox at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton to become the 32nd, and last, qualifiers.

  18. Will 'Frozen' be ice cool in front of goal?published at 11:43 British Summer Time 24 July 2023

    Brazil v Panama (12:00 BST)

Forward Riley Tanner was born and raised in the United States but played for her mother's homeland Panama.

Her team-mates call her 'Frozen' because of her supposed resemblance to the film's blonde character Elsa.

She told the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ swapping shirts with Marta after the game would be "a dream come true".

"I am super star-struck," said Tanner, who made her Panama debut only this year.

"It's all happened pretty quickly. I went from only visiting Canada and a mission trip to Costa Rica to flying all the way across the world to play in a World Cup qualifier in New Zealand, so it's just crazy."
