    Glamorgan 141-8 v Middlesex (19 overs)

Can Glamorgan push this total beyond 150? Timm van der Gugten evidently thinks so as he hits Luke Hollman over mid-on for six. A boundary ends the over and there is one more to come.

On Colin Ingram's dismissal after scoring 75 off 48 balls:

鈥淗e tried to uppercut that one and didn鈥檛 quite get the momentum on the ball but it was a magnificent innings and he has single-handedly given Glamorgan some sort of a total, even if it looks like it won鈥檛 be enough.鈥

    Ingram c Stirling b Cullen 75 (Glamorgan 122-8 v Middlesex, 17 overs)

Ah, the commentator's curse strikes as Colin Ingram departs.

After plundering 10 from two balls, Glamorgan take a couple of singles before the South African gets caught at third man for 75 off 48 balls.

He's given his side a chance.

    Mike Powell

鈥淎 nice over from Glamorgan who are just pushing the accelerator.

"It鈥檚 a nice launchpad. They may be looking at 150, or 160, dare I say.鈥

A maximum followed by a boundary from Colin Ingram gets the scoreboard moving for Glamorgan. As long as he remains there they have a chance of a challenging total.

  5. Postpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 109-7 v Middlesex (16 overs)

Magnificent bowling by Steven Finn, who takes two in an over for the second time. Dan Douthwaite is first go, caught at deep mid-wicket by Luke Hollman for eight, and typist's nightmare Ruaidhri Smith follows as his off stump is knocked back. It's a first-ball duck for him - and Finn has 4-15 from his three overs so far.

We've lost four out of eight games and three others are still very much in the balance.

Yorkshire v Durham and Notts v Derbyshire have been delayed due to rain, and it's the same scenario at Worcester, where there will be a third pitch inspection 18:30 BST.

Let's hope it's third time lucky.

    Glamorgan 106-5 v Middlesex (15 overs)

Finally Glamorgan break the shackles as Colin Ingram lofts Luke Hollman for four and partner Dan Douthwaite clears the rope at long-on from the final ball of the over. The Welsh club need more of the same over the final five.

    Glamorgan 94-5 v Middlesex (14 overs)

This is a terrific strangling job by Middlesex, who have succeeded in forcing the Glamorgan scoring rate down to 6.7 an over.

Just three singles and a leg bye from the 14th, bowled by Ethan Bamber. Colin Ingram is 57 not out, with Dan Douthwaite on one.

鈥淚t looks like a hard start but when you get in it looks more comfortable.

"It's also smart fielding positions from Eoin Morgan which is putting the squeeze on the new batsman and strangling (Colin) Ingram at the other end.鈥

    Glamorgan 90-5 v Middlesex (13 overs)

Another Glamorgan batsman gifts Middlesex an easy wicket with a poor shot. This time it's Callum Taylor who tries to swing to leg and is bowled for five by Luke Hollman, who now has 2-9 from his two overs.

  12. Postpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 89-4 v Middlesex (12 overs)

What can we tell you about Glamorgan's Callum Taylor? His middle name is Zinzan, which may indicate that rugby may have been his family's game of choice at the time of his birth.

His highest T20 score is just 23, but Glamorgan could do with a PB from him this evening. The current scoring rate is 7.4 an over and they need to increase that over the remaining overs.

  13. Postpublished at 17:46 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 82-4 v Middlesex (11 overs)

No idea what Kiran Carlson was trying to do there. He seemed in about three minds and only succeeded in lobbing the simplest return catch back to Luke Hollman.

Carlson departed for six, but Colin Ingram is still there on 51 and he carries Glamorgan hopes of a decent total.

    On Marnus Labuschagne's dismissal:

鈥淗e didn鈥檛 get going tonight and what has served him best on this wicket is genuine straight cricket shots and he just erred for the first time and its cost him his wicket.鈥

The umpires have decided that no play will be possible at Edgbaston between Birmingham Bears and Lancashire Lightning.

for Colin Ingrampublished at 17:41 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

Glamorgan reach the half-way point of their innings on 74-3, but Colin Ingram reaches a 30-ball fifty with a single dabbed down to point at the start of the next over, bowled by spinner Luke Hollman.

    Labuschagne b Finn 13 (Glamorgan 72-3 v Middlesex, 9.3 overs)

Marnus Labuschagne advances down the track to loft Chris Green away over mid-off for four.

The next over, though, sees the Australian's downfall as he attempts an undistinguished smear through the leg-side, makes no contact and is bowled by Steven Finn.

And it's two in two for the Middlesex paceman as Glamorgan captain for the evening, David Lloyd, is lbw first ball.

  18. Postpublished at 17:32 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 62-1 v Middlesex (8 overs)

Colin Ingram continues the trend of two fours per over, with Steven Finn the bowler to suffer this time.

The first is a half-volley handsomely put away through the covers and the second a top edge which fortuitously flies over the outstretched glove of John Simpson behind the stumps.

Ingram is now just three short of a half-century.

    Worcs v Northants (start delayed)

Covers on at New RoadImage source, Rex Features

We were waiting on news of that first pitch inspection at New Road - and the latest is that there will be a second one at 17:45 BST.

It has rained steadily throughout the day in the Faithful City but it has stopped now and there is hope that some play may be possible tonight.

  20. Postpublished at 17:28 British Summer Time 18 June 2021

    Glamorgan 52-1 v Middlesex (7 overs)

Last Friday evening, Chris Green took four wickets in an over for Middlesex, including a hat-trick. What can he do tonight?

He doesn't make a promising start as his first delivery is short of a length, giving Colin Ingram time to rock back and pull it away for four.

Another boundary by Ingram follows later in the over - meanwhile Marnus Labuschagne is biding his time with just five from 13 balls faced so far.
