Just trying out the insert image button.
This is NOT today, but was taken at the begginning of last week from a friends garden.
Hope it works, then I can take pics to show you all this beautiful island.

Wilma, yes, go for it! Lets see lots of pics of Bute. Only been to Bute once, that was few years ago, had to install a PC in the post office at Port Bannatyne - great trip down from Oban to Colintraive. Really nice scenery looking over to Bute. My mother often speaks fondly of going on trips to the Kyles of Bute with my granny, over 50 years ago. Need to get back myself sometime!

Tws seems to be a teeny bit confused... I'm looking forward to seeing more of Bute. Fpu hasn't been there for...oh at least...40+ years...

I do live on Bute. This was taken from the road near the old Academy building looking over the bay towards Ardbeg.
