She must move at the speed of light, that Ruth, one minute she's crewing on a stunning little clipper; the next, chatting up the polis in a jannie's wig and flares; and now Official Blogogropher to the Trondra neeptossers...is there no end to her talents,,,,,(I think that was a rhetorical question).

I'm so vexed I missed it! the event o da year and a brilliant day too. We were at a funeral and were too fragile to come out in public. next year! what are the rules for the baked tattie?

Couldn't have put it better myself Ardnort. I've got lots of fantastic photos which will be posted over the next few days. Must take exception to your "weighty" comment however. I seem to recall doing rather well in the bungee neep run and I'm just a peerie fellow

Is the Bungee Neep a particularly good variety?

I'm very jealous - fun in the sun! I've forgotten what sun looks like :-( Diamondbigdod - what your size lacks in stature, your personality makes up for big-time ;-) I'm lookin forward to Ruthodanort's photos o peerie neep stuff - did anyone manage to get hold o them before she left on a big bird?

Tattie bake rules - main ingredient: tatties. After that, there are no rules. diamondbigdog - joost a peerie fellow? Hmmm. Bungee neep: a good variety? Found it a touch rubbery myself. Photos - diamondbigdog has photos and promises to post shortly. Keep checking back. A couple feature in todays Shetland Times - one on front page. Great pics.

Aha. Was that an oriental rubbery or the British variety?
