Lovely photos, OG, how lucky you are to live in such a lovely place and also have such a good eye for a photograph. The yellow sky in pic 4 is amazing! Thank you.

thanks og-really good snaps-keep them coming!

Fantastic photos! We've been loving the warm weather here in Orkney but a little rain would sure help the grass get back to growing again!!

OG thanks for the beautiful pictures, yes, #4 is breathtaking. Oh Carol my dear, when will you stop calling peoples' carefully chosen and composed pictures "snaps"? "Snaps" are taken on the beach with a box Brownie, are contacted printed with the negative squint in the frame and get put in a photo album never to be looked at again, and no loss to man nor beast. The creations to which we are treated on IB are in quite another category. Sorry to be offensive but "snaps" ... makes me snappy.

I love the shining sea in the top picture OG, and your flags are out already...gosh!

Folks, is Luing as beautiful as OG is making it out to be?

Do you have turkey ticks in the islands? No? You should give praise and go to the Kirk more often then. Wild gobblers and turkey ticks are rather the norm in southern Indiana.
mjc from NM,USA
NO!NO!NO! fc not a year in provence----vastly over-rated,come to languedoc -rousillon less expensive and a more realistic attitude,
carol from in exile
Why, O Carol from IBHQ, would a comment "You can't beat sunshine" be eaten by your spam filter?! Anyone in Scotland has any idea?
mjc from NM,USA
You are so not alone mjc...I'm sure its nothing personal...unless we're BOTH personae non gratae. Hard cheese!
