not blue pigs

first post in a new year and I am already thinking about the coming tourist season, it is now I start to take stock and think about what to take down to the Co-Chomunn na Hearadh at Leverburgh, Harris, I have some lavender left and quite like the blue pigs, they made a change from the hearts so I thought I’d make some unblue ones, here’s the first quartet….

(spell check wants to change ‘unblue’ to ‘unglue’ well I guess you have to be a bit unglued to make lavender scented pigs…..))))

Pigs are much better looking than hearts are any day ! Must be something on the wind, my mind is turning to cruise boat season & the fact that I havent done a single batch of fair isle soap yet, better get my socks, or rather gloves on and get bubbling. Might try some cushion covers etc too.

Angela from the wind tunnel

Very cute !! I love your scented pigs Island Threads. Happy New Year to you too.

Lovely piggies! How about some tartan ones with heather? Does heather grow out on the islands? Wish I had visited some of the islands when I lived in Scotland, (sigh!).

I like your pigs IT. Winged ones for next Christmas perhaps... Your links look really smart too. How did you get them onto seperate lines? Mine all run together even though I tried inserting them properly. It's the Chinese Year of The Rat...

Flying Cat from wondering how IT will cope with tweedy rats

IT wouldn't cope with rats of any kind but has thought of lavender tweed cats, much nicer, thanks for the comment on my links, I have tried learning some html but I don't remember it and once done I just copy and paste, I couldn't manage without C&P.....

FC I found it, to make a break so the next one goes on the line below put a
in, you can find this and other stuff if you click Help Guide under WRITE A BLOG near the bottom of the Lefthand side bar, the
is the last one so scroll to the bottom, this page was where I found out how to make BOLD letters too, good luck,

ok so we try again, FC to make the next link show on the next line you need to put
in, if you go to the Write a Blog in the lefthand sidebar and click on Help Guide then scroll to the bottom you will find the help you want, I posted this last night straight after the other comment but it must be 'lost in space'..

omg the lost posts have appeared, Fiona the tails are a crochet loop so they can be hung up, the crochet twists back on it's self which gives the effect :o) mia I don't have any catnip, sorry :o(

hello Dijanne, thanks for your thanks I am pleased you like the lace, thanks for your comment on my blog, I looked at the link and it is missing the numbers /005253/ at the end of the url which is the bit for my blog, however I don't understand the error, yes it did it to me too, because the url you have should go to the page with all the bbc island blogging blogs, the mysteries of bbc blogland!!!
