Nice, IT, I particularly like the work in progress in the second photo (before the Gallery). What kind of paints did you use? You are so lucky to be able to paint, I can't draw the proverbial straight line! It's so interesting to see how your thoughts and ideas develop.

brilliant photos - clever ideas and well presented too.

The flowers in the image gallery, if you click on each number quickly it looks like they're dancing, honest try it yourself. If it doesn't work then you're just not as quick as me. A bit like flicking the papers to make cartoons, I'm not doing this very well, I think that I'd better stop now. Oh sorry very good IT, very good.

Van Gogh eat your heart out! I like the end result. Could you make it into an appliqu茅, IT?
Flying Cat from snipping&stitching
re FC's applique question: I bought my other half a fab t-shirt on Saturday. It is grey with a big black fantasy type bird across the chest, but done in a sort of reverse applique (like that work done in Central America, can't remember the name), with the black material underneath and the grey material cut away and stitched. It struck me that your strong flower shapes would be perfect for that technique - what do you think?

Frances, your floral painting is great and this looks like a wonderful technique to try on both paper and fabric! Thanks for your nice comments on my blog...

Jill neither can I draw a straight line look at the wonky stems, for years I couldn't draw or paint then I had a good tutor and now realise it wasn't me but bad tuition, give yourself permission to play and make mistakes, it's like the joke, practice, practice, practice, the paint is Artists Acrylic, yes Fc you can use it for appliqu茅 and yes Jill reverse appliqu茅 would work to, Conni I started planning a quilt at the class, wow Tws I didn't know I could make moving pictures,
