The problem is that the developers have already signed lease agreements (years ago, and without proper prior dicussions with the communities) with the previous estate owners and that has created a situation where, despite the recent sale of the state, the developers can actually hinder the working of the new estate owners, if what community groups are planning for the land doesn't meet with Lewis Wind Power's 'approval'. Whether the new owners can similarly hinder LWP's grand plan is another matter - perhaps some legal boffin reading this can enlighten us all...

Carol I am not sure if your post is serious or fun so just incase it is serious and for anyone else that did not understand the ‘brown’ I am referring to what we know in Britain as ‘Brownfield sites’ meaning industrial sites whereas ‘Greenfield sites’ are beautiful natural areas which is how the moors are Now but won’t be if the Wind Factory is built on the moors,
