Storm Damage

So now I have worked out how to load pictures here are some of the damage caused by the winter storms to Fladda that I took earlier in the year.
Most of the Damage was to the south of the Island, here is the top of the southern wall near the lighthouse
The southern seawall hardly ever gets damaged by the sea but this time it was heavily pockmarked

i notice the web page says fladda is the largest of the slate islands, this is obviously a mistake, is it meant to say it is the smallest slate island?

Hello, nothing to do with your posts I'm afraid.... although I am glad to see life on the island. I'm interested to see someone posting from Fladda using the internet -as at the moment I am using the internet and software to research and document my family tree that includes cousins of mine from Fladda (I have cousins in Raasay, mostly Nicolsons), including "The Handies" Gillies. Hi there, I was wondering if this blog is still on since it has been a while the last comment was being sent. I would like to know more about the Island of "Fladda", since "Fladda" happens to be my family name. I might just claim rights on the property of the isle (just joking!!!).
